TechnipFMC: Handling of heavy products during production
Safe handling of heavy and expensive products is often a challenge, especially when good access from all sides is needed during assembly.
We continuously develop tools and equipment for manual production, and have designed two tools for TechnipFMC.
The tool comes in two variants: both a fixed and a mobile solution. When the product is mounted to the tool, an indicator shows if it has been correctly attached before the equipment can be used safely. The tools are designed and certified to handle 1000 kg.
By using these tools, the operator can rotate the product around two axes. Additionally, the fixed-mount tool features height adjustment to ensure good ergonomics during the assembly of critical components. Cody has been responsible for the solution, design, production, and certification. We have expertise in relevant directives and standards, and deliver our products fully tested and CE-marked.
Magnus is our sales manager, and with his experience in both mechanical design, automation, and project management, he has full control over what Cody can deliver. He delves deep into the Machinery Directive, CE marking, and harmonized standards to ensure that what we deliver complies with laws and regulations. Magnus is extremely interested in horn speakers and doesn't shy away from renovating the house to improve acoustics.
