ABB: Release force meter with data logging
At ABB's factory for medium-voltage equipment production in Skien, there are high demands for testing, verification, and documentation. One crucial quality test is measuring the physical force required to trigger a release mechanism on the product. ABB selected Cody to develop a new solution for this, focusing on good repeatability, accuracy, ease of use, and automatic logging of test results.
The solution is user-friendly for operators and provides clear feedback.
“This is one of several projects we have delivered to ABB, and the meter has been in use since the beginning of 2023,” says Project Manager Christian Skoe.
