Cody was at Industriuka in Porsgrunn from the 12th to the 13th of June.
Industriuka in Porsgrunn is a large industrial fair featuring inspiring conferences, numerous seminars, breakfast meetings, and workshops connected with informal meeting spaces, social events, and exciting activities.
Exhibition Stand with Sintef
This year, Cody had an exciting stand together with our dear friends at Sintef. Here, visitors had the opportunity to take a virtual tour of several of our machines using VR glasses and see real examples of the machines and products we have developed.
Horizon Europe Project STARHAUS
In a previous Horizon2020 project called DIY4U, we developed an ultra-modular lab machine called the MDF (Manufacturing Demonstration Facility) or FabLab (Fabrication Laboratory) to demonstrate the production of customized detergent. In the STARHAUS project, which we are undertaking together with SINTEF and several other European companies, we will use the same machine to demonstrate how this technology can enable personalization in other segments, such as beverages, breakfast cereals, pet food, and fertilizers.
But first, we wanted to give the guests at Industriuka the opportunity to order their personal color mix of Nonstop from the machine via a light organ!
Nomination for Power Award 2024
Cody was one of three nominees for this year's Power Award 2024 for its collaboration with Vianode through the GreenBox project. The nomination committee writes this about the nomination:
"Cody is nominated for its collaboration with Vianode through the GreenBox project. Vianode has developed groundbreaking technology for producing battery materials with a process that improves the environmental footprint by 90%. The project involves creating digital twins of industrial processes. This allows for the establishment, operation, and development of industrial processes to be done digitally before implementing costly and risky measures in physical factories and processes. Cody's contribution to GreenBox involves automating sampling, preparation, and analysis to provide robust and frequent measurements from the process with significantly reduced time delays compared to today."
