In ABB's factory for the production of medium voltage systems in Skien, high demands are placed on testing, verification and documentation. An important quality test is the measurement of the physical force needed to trigger a release mechanism on the product. ABB chose Cody to develop a new solution for this, with a focus on good repeatability, accuracy, ease of use and automatic logging of test results.

The solution is easy to use for the operators and provides clear feedback.

- This is one of several projects we have delivered to ABB, and the meter has been in use since the start of 2023, says project manager Christian Skoe.
