LOGGING AND REPORTING
Cody AS deliver systems for logging and reporting of production data. We can offer products and solutions that enable trackability and analysis of the production process. See separate TITAAN section.
A Programmable Logic Controller is central in most automated system. A PLC is a specialized computer, designed to perform complex tasks based on inputs and outputs. PLC programming is one of our core competencies and we can utilize any type of PLC according to our customers demands. Our main expertise is Allen Bradley, Siemens, Unitronics, Mitsubishi and Phoenix.
In order to control a machine the operator need an interface, either buttons and lights, panels or distributed control systems on dedicated computers. Cody AS helps the customer to find the optimal HMI (Human-Machine Interface) for the machines we design. We are experienced with FactoryTalk View, TIA Portal/WinCC, iX HMI, Unitronics, Citect and Wonderware among others.
NETWORK AND REMOTE DIAGNOSTICS
A well-structured and safe network is necessary to maintain high uptime. We use renowned products, mainly from Allen Bradley and Cisco, to design a topology that maintains a high degree of efficiency and safety. We also offer solutions for remote supervision and diagnostics through our VPN-infrastructure.
ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION
Our machines are delivered with wiring diagrams according to current standards. The engineers at Cody AS design, draw and instrument control systems to create robust machines that meet customers demands.
Cody AS deliver machines with advanced vision systems. The cameras and sensors have been used for product inspection, character recognition (OCR), logging, measuring and positioning. We have also used machine learning for product inspection and classification
Robots are an instrumental part of modern production and Cody AS deliver machines that utilize the flexibility of robot control. We also deliver machines that interact with pre-existing robot systems.
Our engineers have a lot of experience with advanced servo systems for fast and accurate positioning. Servo motors combine flexibility, control and accuracy in a very cost and energy-efficient way.
