Trainee for Cody?

Trainee Vestfold and Telemark is a regional trainee program that gives new graduates with a master's degree the opportunity to be placed with exciting companies in a temporary engagement.

The aim of the program is to give companies in the region access to highly educated labour, and to give young people an exciting and attractive entry into working life and their career path. Cody has recently joined the trainee program and we look forward to welcoming a newly graduated candidate in the spring.

- We are always looking for talent, but often choose candidates who have a few years of working life behind them. By joining the trainee program, we get the opportunity to let a recent graduate show off, with completely fresh and up-to-date skills, says Ken André Myhra Kihle, General Manager at Cody.

The program works so that the trainee resource is hired in Trainee Vestfold and Telemark, and rented out to the member company for 6 months at a time. Both the company and the trainee get to test each other.

- The aim is of course for the trainee to end up with an interesting job offer and permanent employment with one of the companies after completing the programme. The effect of such schemes has shown that over 75% of the trainees become permanently employed and settle in the region, says Jan Inge Galtung Nilsen, general manager of Trainee Vestfold and Telemark.

We are looking for a trainee with an education in machinery, automation/robotics and IT. The admission period is in October and April - read more and apply here.
